Clay Bar Treatment

Maintain and Brighten Your Car's Paint

Your car's clearcoat picks up brake dust, environmental fallout, and road tar as you drive.  These particles lodge themselves into your car's clearcoat, and overtime, this buildup dulls your paint. If these particles are left in your clearcoat too long, they will corrode, eat through your clearcoat, cause oxidation, and eventually lead to permanent damage. With a clay bar treatment, your car's paint will be refreshed and saved by removing the embedded dirt a professional hand wash cannot remove. Our synthetic clay bar safely pulls out the embedded dirt leaving you with clean paint.

Frequently Asked Clay Bar Questions

Is it worth it to get my car a clay bar treatment?

Yes. In Central Florida, especially in Lakeland, we have seen heavy oxidation forming on car's clearcoats. This can be a result of neglected paint where brake dust, tar, and industrial fallout embeds itself into your car's paint for too long. So from a maintanence perspective, getting your car clay barred atleast once a year is a necessity to keep your clearcoat maintained.

Your car's paint is preserved, smoothed and visually enhanced by a clay bar treatment.

How often should I clay bar my car?

We recommend this treatment on your car's paint every six months.  If the car is a daily driver, we recommend every five months.  Too much particle buildup from brake dust, rail dust, and industrial fallout can cause etching on the vehicles paint which leads to permanent damage. Bugs that have splattered on the car's bumper, windows, hood, and mirrors will cause etching from the bug acids.  Clay bars do a fantastic job at cleaning up embedded dirt in your car's paint (clearcoat) and keeping your paint maintained, free from the risk of oxidation.

How do I know if my car even needs a clay bar treatment?

If your car's paint feels rough after a hand wash or car wash, this is an indicator of embedded dirt present in your paint.  This embedded dirt can only be found by touching the paint, and for the most part, it is not visible to the eye.

With years of embedded dirt building up, this Silverado's silver paint appeared dull. After our clay bar treatment, the silver paint began to pop with a glossy reflection after the years of buildup.

This 2025 Honda Civic Type R, a one year old car when detailed, had fresh water spots from sprinklers and minor dirt buildup on it's beautiful black paint.  After a full body wash, our clay bar service cleared the dirt buildup on the paint resulting in a mirror finish.
