Got Swirls?

Your car's paintwork is under constant attack. Every drive exposes it to harsh UV rays, road contaminants, bird droppings, and microscopic debris that quietly accumulate within your clear coat — dulling your finish, deepening scratches, and accelerating long-term paint deterioration. Paint correction is the professional solution that reverses this damage at its source. Using advanced machine polishers and precision compounds, our skilled detailers systematically eliminate swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, and water spots — restoring your vehicle's exterior to a breathtaking, showroom-quality finish. The benefits go far beyond appearance: corrected paintwork is stronger, smoother, and significantly more resistant to future damage, while also boosting your car's resale value considerably. The longer surface defects are left untreated, the deeper they penetrate — and the more costly they become to fix. What correction can resolve today, a full respray may be required to fix tomorrow. Don't wait until the damage becomes irreversible. Book your professional paint correction service now and give your vehicle the care, protection, and brilliance it deserves.

How It Works

1. Vehicle Decontamination

Our detailers start with a professional hand wash on the entire vehicle's exterior.  Once the larger dirt is removed, the car is treated with a clay bar which removes embedded dirt that a wash mitt is unable to remove.  The clay bar is paired with iron remover to safely melt away embedded iron particles from rail dust and environmental fallout, which is common in Lakeland.  After the paint is fully decontaminated, our detailers work panel by panel with heavy cut compound removing the larger defects in the paint.  This is the first step in the paint correction.  After the compound step, a polish is used to jewel the clearcoat into a high-gloss finish.

2. Compound + Polish

On clean paint, our detailers begin removing scratches, swirls, and etching with a machine polisher.  Using professional-grade compounds and polishes, the car's paint is safely corrected producing a deep glossy look.  Our detailers perform quality control under a high CRI lighting ensuring you get the clearest paint possible.

3. Paint Protection

All polish and compound is cleared off the vehicle's paint to make way for a protection.  We recommend our customers go with our ceramic coatings for years of paint protection.  Without a ceramic, a temporary protection in the form of a wax or sealant is applied to protect the clearcoat from the elements.  Enjoy a glossy, scratch-free paint that reflects your standards.

Paint Correction: Your Questions Answered

What Does a Paint Correction Service Do To My Car?

Paint correction is the most thorough and advanced form of exterior detailing available. It is a multi-stage process designed to systematically eliminate defects embedded within your vehicle's clear coat — the transparent protective layer that sits over your actual paint. Using professional-grade machine polishers, cutting compounds, and refinement polishes, our skilled detailers carefully work across every panel of your car, removing imperfections and restoring the paint to its purest, most flawless state.

The process typically involves an intensive inspection under high-intensity lighting to identify every scratch, swirl mark, water spot, and oxidation patch present on the surface. Each defect is then methodically addressed using a combination of cutting, polishing, and finishing stages tailored specifically to your car's paint type and condition. The final result is a dramatically transformed exterior — smoother, deeper, and more vibrant than it has looked in years. Most correction services are also finished with a protective sealant or ceramic coating to preserve the results long term.

Will Paint Correction Remove Scratches?

Paint correction can remove or significantly reduce the vast majority of scratches — but the outcome depends entirely on the depth of the damage. Your car's exterior is made up of several layers: the base metal, primer, colour coat, and clear coat on top. Most everyday scratches — caused by automatic car washes, light keying, bush contact, or improper washing techniques — live within the clear coat layer and can be fully eliminated through the correction process.
However, scratches that have cut through the clear coat and penetrated into the colour coat or primer are beyond what polishing alone can fix. These deeper scratches typically require touch-up paint, wet sanding, or professional respray work before correction can be performed. A reputable detailer will always assess your scratches thoroughly beforehand and give you an honest evaluation of what correction can realistically achieve on your specific vehicle.

How Do I Know If My Car Needs a Paint Correction?

There are several clear signs that your car's paintwork is crying out for professional correction. The most common indicator is the presence of swirl marks — those fine, circular scratches most visible in direct sunlight or under artificial lighting that give your paint a dull, hazy appearance rather than a clean, sharp reflection. If you run your fingers across your car's surface and feel roughness or texture instead of a smooth, glass-like finish, that is another strong signal that contaminants and micro-defects have built up within the clear coat.
Additional warning signs include faded or chalky-looking paint caused by UV oxidation, water spots that refuse to wash away, and an overall lack of depth or gloss that waxing no longer seems to restore. If your car is several years old and has never received a professional detail or correction service, the likelihood is high that it would benefit enormously from one. When in doubt, consult a professional detailer — most offer a free inspection and can show you exactly what correction would achieve on your vehicle.
